Monday, September 14th.
Today we drove to Anchorage for my pre op appointment. Emmit didn’t ride at my feet, he peed on himself…haha. Between the lab and the doctors office we where at Providence for approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. He road in the elevators, went down a staircases and walked in the parking garage with one small correction on the stairs. He was on a down stay with only one distraction when someone walked by. Emmit quickly returned to a down and stated. The rest of our lab time was outstanding;) especially during my blood draw. He was very respectful in the doctors office. He showed great improvement. He never tried to jump on anyone last time we where there on July 1st he was all over the waiting room and tried to jump on everybody. My doctor was very impressed. Last but definitely not least mom, Emmit and I met a friend at the off leash dog park by Providence, don’t panic…lol that’s my job. He loves other dogs. You were right he was just frustrated once he was allowed to be social on a relaxed leash his tension melted. Emmit was not aggressive one time all though he did want to pull and we walked another 3.0 miles lasting around an hour and fifteen minutes. Thank you.
