1st, 8th,15th,29th. taekwondo – Emmit is very well behaved he is placed on a down stay for one hour and at break time and at the end Of practice If he is calm he is allowed a visit with the children. He helps with my PTSD I am still very anxious around…[Read more]

Emmit was with me for the drive two and from the hospital and has been enjoying lounging around while I recover. Thank you for your time. Next week I will be using a different strategy to upload hours and information.

Thursday, September 17th
Anchorage drive with mom for more pre-op labs Emmit is still anxious during. Emmit did not react to the laboratory Teck.

Wednesday, September 16th
An Early anxious morning as usual. I focused on grounding and mindfulness with Emmit 1.0hours
Bike Ride with Emmit 1.5 miles for 30 min.
Emmit midday kennel time 2.0 hours-he was a little fussy but relaxed. I said no and he did get quiet. I was not in the room and he had doggie meditation music on.

Tuesday, September 15th.

Telephonic meeting with my counselor. It was extremely emotional. I used grounding techniques focused on Emmit. 1.0 hours.
Car ride to and from Quest labs for blood work. 1.0 hours. Emmit wanted to jump on the phlebotomist,
The rest of the night was pretty relaxed.

Monday, September 14th.
Today we drove to Anchorage for my pre op appointment. Emmit didn’t ride at my feet, he peed on himself…haha. Between the lab and the doctors office we where at Providence for approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. 15 minutes of Gromming he was calm especially around his feet. It was calming for both of us.

Hello, Emmit is starting to react fearfully towards other dogs and is starting to show his teeth and growling. I need help. The dog park will be something we attend twice a week. I am going to post to see if any other AK Dog Works member will join us on his portal.
