Gil and I have been conversing with Sandra Rowe owner of the Nome Animal House. She is willing to order kennels and have them here in Nome for those who need them. She will give them to Serum Run for the actual cost of the kennel plus her shipping cost to Nome. She gave us the following prices.

She also is working on Straw prices and will support our expedition for her cost of the straw and shipping with no mark up. I will speak to Bering Air this week to discuss their shipping cost for the straw to the villages. Once the quote is received, Kathleen and I will compare to see if shipping straw to the Nome region villages is cheaper from Nome or Anchorage.
