I am signed up for the Alpine Creek Excursions Race on December 9th. It is 65 miles and overnights at the lodge on Denali Highway. My dogs haven’t been on snow yet this year, but we can go 20 miles with the 4 wheeler and still have some steam left. Feet are definitely a concern with dirt roads, so most of us are holding back. This event would be a good trial run for getting some dog on the trail practice. I know Kathleen has some teams entered. I’m going to invite Carla to go with a snowmachine. Anyone else interested?
