    I took my big sled to the sled repair and got some disappointing news. It has double runners and one of them is broken. It will cost $500 plus any other work to put it on the trail. If anyone has a lead on a sled I could borrow or ? Rent? Please let me know. The sled bag for my GATT alone is $450 new and it’s not nearly big enough for this trip. So sled hunting on a budget right now. I don’t mind doing some repairs if it’s reasonable 🙂

      Juliah, did you find a sled? I have a raised toboggan that may be good for the expedition but I would need it for training until close to time we leave. If you could find one closer, I am sure that would better since it would not have to be shipped but keep it in mind. Phil is my neighbor and would probably be willing to check it out for any issues prior to the trip.

        Hi Stephanie. Thank you, I think I have one. One is promised to me as a loaner starting after January. If that one falls through, I will be very happy to have a back up !!!
