One more thing. I thought we were staying at schools and community centers other than at Beaver Point Lodge. Is that accurate? I know when we did the Serum Run before, they stayed at the rehab center in Old Minto, at Beaver Point Lodge, at the school in Manley, at the school in Tanana, in the community center in Ruby, and at the Galena Interior Learning Center (the latter had GREAT accommodations). Boneyard, Trapper, and Old Woman are all forest service cabins that get reserved on line, I believe; last time I rented a forest service cabin, it was about $45. So, that’s an easy one to nail down. The rehab center is run by one of the native groups; possibly Tanana Chiefs but I’m sure you can figure that out from a little on line research.
