For those of you who want/need poly bags, the site I am looking at is http://www.uline.com/sandbags and then there are the colored sandbags which come in various sizes. I personally like the size that animal food warehouse uses which is 24″ wide by 40″ long. In the past, the Serum Run has used the orange bags labelled as per the handbook to make its bags readily identifiable at a time when there are bags for Iditarod sitting in the village. The bags this size come in 100 per bundle, so would be suitable for two or three mushers to split. You are going to have 4 bags for sure for each drop point. Kirsten has bags but I do enough races that mine are labelled now on both sides for various checkpoints so I am definitely buying a bundle of orange ones. If somebody wants to split it with me, let me know.
