I agree it is tough to get numbers but everyone is wanting to know what everything will cost up front and I just can’t give it to them because I just don’t know.

I knew we should have just said from day one that it was going to be $X.XX to go on the trip and if they wanted to go then they could just pay that amount and go. But it didn’t work out that way and that is why we are at the point we are today.

I know that people did not like it when I compared the cost of other trips I have been on. For example, Michele and I just signed up for a week long dive trip in Hawaii next October. The cost is $3500 per person with a $500 non-refundable deposit that is due now. That cost includes everything except transportation to and from Hawaii. It is a very similarly designed trip as our Serum Run trip. We did not get to negotiate any of the $3500 costs. We just agreed to pay it or not go.
