Let’s Go! is the same as Heel or With Me or By Me. He should be placed on the left side next to your left leg with his right leg parallel. Hold the leash as you normally would, the draping of the lead is for later when he has learned to walk without needing any corrections. You don’t want him going in front of you or placing his rib cage next to your leg, that is too far forward and doesn’t allow for you to make a left turn without letting him move to the right side or having you go around him. The point is for him to “follow” your lead not you follow his.

Yes maintain full control at this point. The program is designed to be repeated several times through to develop to advanced obedience and eventually off leash work can be accomplished.

If you are comfortable with Week 1 move onto Week 2 and even 3. Follow the Ascent Course as well, it opens one week after you start and so one for each week thereafter.
