Hi Tricia
Sorry for the delay in my reply MTA had an outage today that affected our internet for 7 hours!Regarding your personality profile test, those numbers do seem a little off. I agree his PACK is high but his prey and defense drives play off of each other. Like at first he wants to play but then he gets nervous or even fearful and then decides to pursue defending himself (in close proximity of other dogs). On the other hand the little dog you passed that he went after is his prey drive taking over like a hunting dog and attempting to hunt/kill that rabbit, squirrel, ermine, or little dog.
I will do my best to work on these behaviors while he is with us and I thank you for the heads up.
I would have preferred that you did not “spank” him or discipline him using force/dominance type maneuvers. That can actually make this behavior worse and he may redirect towards you which is not something he wants to do.
