MUSHERS’ DEADLINE FOR STRAW PAYMENT is January 2, 2019. Juliah, Kathy, Robert, and Marla will need TWELVE bales of straw for the trip. The straw price varies, depending on whether it needs to be in a sown burlap bag or flown to Nome, from $15.00 a bale to $41.00 a bale. Kirsten and Stephanie only need ELEVEN bales of straw for the trip (they will have their own straw in Nome. THE COST OF THE STRAW DOES NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING OR GAS FOR THOSE DELIVERING THE STRAW TO NENANA AND MANLEY. I will provide the shipping costs and gas costs and a deadline later in January for that.

You can either deposit it in the bank account as you did with the deposit, sending Kirsten a picture of the payment or by check. to Kirsten. The cost is for the straw for 6 mushers, which allows us to divide up the delivery fee Cold Spot charges.

($ 41.00), and 1 bale for the four mushers who need straw in Nome ($41.00 per bale).
